Azlask, the swelling scourge by JackieJerky

Commander: Azlask, the Swelling Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Azlask, the Swelling Scourge pilots a five-color Eldrazi token deck that turns Scion and Spawn tokens into experience counters. The core plan is to fill the board with cheap token makers, sacrifice them through outlets for mana, cards, and experience, then activate Azlask's WUBRG ability to give the army indestructible, annihilator 1, and a huge power boost. The deck also has a clean infinite combo: Ashnod's Altar plus Eldrazi Displacer plus a two-token ETB creature such as Eyeless Watcher, closed by Mirkwood Bats or Glaring Fleshraker. Ezuri, Claw of Progress and Meren of Clan Nel Toth serve as hidden commanders, adding a second experience engine and recursion. Bigger Eldrazi and Ugin provide alternate midrange paths.
