Deck overview

This deck leverages Satoru Umezawa as a commander-centric cheat engine in Dimir colors. The game plan relies on deploying cheap, evasive creatures such as Slither Blade, Mist-Cloaked Herald, and Changeling Outcast on early turns. Once Satoru enters the battlefield on Turn 3, every creature card in hand gains ninjutsu for {2}{U}{B}. On Turn 4, an unblocked attacker is swapped mid-combat for colossal threats such as Blightsteel Colossus, Archon of Cruelty, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Ancient Silver Dragon. This sequence cheats massive mana costs, evades sorcery-speed removal and standard creature counterspells, and applies immediate lethal pressure. While the deck boasts heavy functional redundancy among both unblockable enablers and high-cost payoffs, it remains heavily dependent on Satoru's presence to bypass the steep mana costs of its finishers. Efficient interaction like Deadly Rollick and Force of Will safeguards the board while Satoru rapidly eliminates opponents one by one.
