Deck overview

This is a focused Orzhov Ring-temptation deck helmed by Frodo, Sauron's Bane, built around a single elegant alternate win: tempt the Ring four or more times, transform Frodo into a Rogue, and connect for the instant game loss. The deck layers a dense Ring-tempt package - nine Nazgul, Call of the Ring, Samwise the Stouthearted, and Slip On the Ring - under a voltron shell of equipment and protection that keeps Frodo alive and unblockable. Secondary plans include growing the Nazgul squad into a deathtouch beatdown and grinding value through Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Esper Sentinel. The commander is the entire point: his Rogue transformation is the only way to trigger the Ring-lose condition, so the deck is a classic command-zone-dependent voltron/alt-win hybrid with a strong protection suite to back the kill.
