Commander: Atarka, World Render

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a straightforward Gruul Dragon tribal aggro strategy helmed by Atarka, World Render. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy a swarm of high-power Dragons, and then cast Atarka to grant all attacking Dragons double strike, turning a modest board into a lethal alpha strike. The deck leans heavily on combat damage as its sole win condition, with token generators like Dragon Broodmother and Skyline Despot providing board presence, and value engines like Garruk's Uprising and Dragon's Hoard offering card advantage. There are no infinite combos; victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage, often accelerated by haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Carnelian Orb of Dragonkind. The deck is a classic battle-cruiser build that aims to outmuscle opponents with sheer size and evasion.
