The Bird is the Word by andisir

Commander: Nadu, Winged Wisdom

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Nadu, Winged Wisdom is the heart of a Simic landfall-combo deck that turns cheap targeting effects into card and land advantage. The primary plan is to play Nadu early, attach free equipments such as Shuko and Lightning Greaves, and trigger Nadu twice on each creature to put extra lands into play while drawing spells. Landfall payoffs-Scute Swarm, Springheart Nantuko, and Field of the Dead-convert those lands into an exponential token army. Finale of Devastation is the main way to give that army haste and power, while Aphetto Alchemist plus Unctus provides a secondary untap engine. The deck is built specifically to maximize Nadu's two-trigger-per-turn ceiling.
