Ureni Modified

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten is a Temur dragon commander deck. The primary plan is to ramp to Ureni, then use its enter and attack triggers to look at the top eight cards and put a Dragon onto the battlefield for free. Secondary plans are Miirym and Lathliss to copy dragons, Scourge of the Throne to chain extra combats, and damage multipliers like Dragon Tempest. The commander is the engine; without it, the deck still has a strong dragon core but loses its main card advantage. The deck wins by combat, using haste effects and extra combat steps to drain all opponents in one or two turns.
