Deck overview

This mono-red Eldrazi deck is piloted by Herigast, Erupting Nullkite, focusing on cost reduction, explosive card advantage, and massive stompy threats. The deck leverages cards with alternative casting costs—such as prototype creatures like Fallaji Dragon Engine and warp permanents like Bygone Colossus—which enter the battlefield cheaply while retaining their high printed mana values. On turn 4, Herigast emerges by sacrificing these discounted permanents, refilling the pilot's hand and granting emerge to all subsequent creature spells. By turn 5, the deck chains massive Eldrazi titans including Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Hideous Taskmaster. These titans trigger potent uncounterable cast abilities that strip opposing permanents and draw fresh cards. Supported by haste enablers like Anger and asymmetric wipes like All Is Dust, the deck establishes overwhelming pressure and closes the game through annihilator combat by turn 7.
