Deck overview

This is an Esper noncreature-spells-matter control/drain deck helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The plan is to chain mana-value-3-or-greater noncreature spells - made cheap by Jet Medallion, Sapphire Medallion, Lyse Hext, Valeria Richards, Precocious, and the back face of Heliod, the Radiant Dawn // Heliod, the Warped Eclipse - to trigger Y'shtola's 2-damage ping to each opponent, her end-step draw, and a web of parallel drain payoffs (Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Papalymo Totolymo, the Wizard tokens from Circle of Power and Transpose). The primary win is the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood life-gain/loss loop (or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood), with Exsanguinate and incremental pings as backups. The deck draws a lot of cards but has no tutor suite, so it wins by grinding into its combo rather than assembling it on demand.
