Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger list helmed by Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea blends instant/sorcery copying with artifact token generation for both mana and card advantage. The deck aims to chain cheap instants and sorceries, leveraging payoffs like Archmage Emeritus for draw, Birgi, God of Storytelling for mana, and Alania, Divergent Storm or Mica, Reader of Ruins to double spells. The commander itself provides a one-shot tutor for the back face (Wild Idea - tutor an instant/sorcery) and a repeatable Treasure engine on the front face (Sanar - tap to create a Treasure after casting an instant/sorcery). The primary win conditions are X-cost burn spells (Crackle with Power, Fireball) powered by hordes of Treasure tokens, or a wide combat board built from Third Path Iconoclast, Simulacrum Synthesizer, and Colorstorm Stallion copies. An extra turn from Alchemist's Gambit can accelerate the lethal push, while Invasion of Arcavios fetches a key instant/sorcery from anywhere.
