Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius aggro-midrange strategy that weaponizes scry and surveil mechanics to rapidly grow a wide board of creatures. Commanded by Denzilore Fatehold, every instance of library manipulation places a +1/+1 counter on all friendly creatures. The deck curves low-cost utility creatures that scry or surveil on attack or tap (such as Attentive Sunscribe, Starfighter Pilot, and Nightveil Sprite), flashing in Denzilore on Turn 3 or 4. Once assembled on Turn 4, combat steps trigger multiple instances of scry/surveil simultaneously, quickly turning small utility creatures into massive aerial threats. Evasion enablers like Abzan Falconer, Gossip's Talent, and Wave Goodbye clear paths through opposing blockers. While the deck boasts immense functional redundancy and card selection, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn cycles leaves it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers, which it mitigates with synergistic phase-out and protection spells like Ripples of Potential.
