Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Landfall Burn strategy commanded by Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. The deck leverages ramp spells, fetchlands, and extra land drop enablers like Wayward Swordtooth and Mina and Denn, Wildborn to trigger landfall multiple times each turn. Tannuk turns every land drop into direct damage to each opponent while generating card draw on the second trigger each turn. Additional pingers such as Tunneling Geopede and Sabotender, combined with damage boosters like Mechanized Warfare and Hawkeye, Young Avenger, accelerate the clock into a lethal burn storm. Late-game burst plays from Cultivator Colossus, Nahiri's Lithoforming, and Will of the Sultai convert land ramp into massive bursts of damage or overwhelming board presence.
