Dream Grixis Combo 1 by user3028006

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Grixis combo-control deck whose primary kill is Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact, with Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Brain Freeze as a storm backup and Hullbreaker Horror loops as a third line. Nicol Bolas, the Ravager is early hand disruption and a flying body; flipping to Nicol Bolas, the Arisen grants draw-two, removal, and reanimation, and synergizes with Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. The back face is the main value engine, while the front face buys time. Valki // Tibalt plays a hidden-commander role: the Tibalt face exiles and casts opponents' spells. The list is tutor-dense, runs 12 counterspells and 8 free interaction spells, and can execute every win without ever casting its commander.
