Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis attrition and combo strategy led by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The primary game plan revolves around forcing symmetrical card draw and discard through powerful wheel effects like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal, while breaking parity with asymmetric punishers. Permanents like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Liliana's Caress, and Waste Not convert mass discards into massive life swings, mana acceleration, and board presence. Meanwhile, draw-locking cards such as Narset, Parter of Veils and Notion Thief leave opponents with empty hands. The deck also threatens a compact two-card infinite finish using Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. Backed by premium free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Force of Will, the deck reliably seizes control around Turn 4 and closes the game out by Turn 6.
