Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Aristocrats strategy commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The game plan revolves around generating cheap creature fodder, sacrificing creatures to Sephiroth to draw cards, and grinding down opponent life totals with death triggers. Once four creatures die in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting a permanent drain emblem and mass card draw on attacks. The deck can also execute an infinite token combo using Sedgemoor Witch and Chain of Smog. While rich in creature removal and mid-game card flow, the deck relies heavily on normal land drops due to a low count of fast mana artifacts. It steadily converts incremental life loss into a decisive clock around Turns 7 to 9.
