Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis tribal midrange strategy centered around Be'lakor, the Dark Master. The primary game plan focuses on early artifact ramp to deploy Be'lakor ahead of curve on Turn 5. Upon entry, Be'lakor draws cards based on your Demon count, replenishing your hand and unlocking Lord of Torment's burn trigger. From Turn 6 onward, every subsequent Demon acts as direct burn removal or face damage, accompanied by overwhelming evasive combat pressure from 5/5 and 6/6 flyers. Value doublers like Molten Echoes and Reflections of Littjara amplify both damage and board presence, while blink spells like Displace re-trigger Be'lakor's abilities. The deck operates primarily at sorcery speed, relying on creature-based sweepers such as Rakdos, the Showstopper for board control while closing the game around Turn 9.
