Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur Dragon Stompy build helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana through low-cost ramp spells, cost-reducers, and mana dorks during the early turns to cast Ureni ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Upon entering and attacking, Ureni looks at the top eight cards of the library to cheat formidable Dragons directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. Paired with team-wide haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest, Ureni triggers twice on its debut turn, deploying overwhelming aerial powerhouses such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks. Opponents face an immediate must-answer clock, with the deck capable of dealing lethal damage across the entire table on Turn 6 through double-strike attacks from Atarka, World Render or infinite combat steps via Old Gnawbone and Aggravated Assault. Protective spells ensure the lethal Dragon horde survives opposing interaction to close the game.
