Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos spellslinger and storm deck centered on Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The game plan revolves around casting Kuja to generate Wizard tokens that deal damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. Once enough Wizards assemble, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. The deck leverages an array of low-cost cantrips, rituals, alternate-cost spells, and explosive engines like Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, and Bolas's Citadel to chain spells together in a single turn. Amplifiers such as Collective Inferno, Harmonic Prodigy, and Insult // Injury scale this output rapidly, burning the entire table out simultaneously. The deck is resilient against targeted disruption thanks to a suite of free and efficient redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, though it remains vulnerable to early creature sweepers and lacks enchantment removal.
