Etali, Primal Conqueror by oscarmateo

Format: Commander

Commander: Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Etali, Primal Conqueror is the deck's primary engine and payoff: early ramp and landfall accelerate to seven mana so his enters trigger exiles and free-casts spells from all opponents. The deck is built around the front face; the back face, Primal Sickness, is used as a finisher, turning the 11/11 into a three-swing poison clock. A Gruul landfall package (Omnath, Locus of Rage; Scute Swarm; Rampaging Baloths; Kodama of the East Tree) provides a non-commander beatdown path, while Herd Baloth plus Ivy Lane Denizen creates an infinite Beast combo. Etali, Primal Storm acts as a hidden commander, preserving the free-cast engine if the real commander is removed.
