Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green stompy strategy centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan focuses on deploying high-power, low-cost-per-stat creatures such as Gigantosaurus, Quakestrider Ceratops, and Dusyut Earthcarver during the first four turns. These oversized bodies drastically discount Ghalta from the command zone, allowing the 12/12 Elder Dinosaur to enter the battlefield for just two green mana as early as Turn 5. Once Ghalta is deployed, the deck leverages trample and raw power to eliminate opponents via commander damage and combat attrition over consecutive combat steps. Support cards like Garruk's Uprising provide card draw triggers upon casting large beaters, while Swiftfoot Boots and Surrak, the Hunt Caller grant haste to compress the combat clock. The deck is resilient against single-threat removal due to a high density of interchangeable large creatures, though it remains vulnerable to multi-turn board wipes and lacks hard stax or combo lines.
