Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov list is a low-curve hatebears prison built to freeze a four-player table and then close with Frodo, Sauron's Bane. Early turns slam cheap locks - Deafening Silence, Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, Winter Orb, Rest in Peace, Torpor Orb - that shut off combo turns and keep boards small. In parallel, Frodo is walked from Citizen to Scout to Rogue; once the Ring has tempted you four times, any combat damage from that Rogue makes the defending player lose the game. Unblockable equipment and a dense protection suite make the hit reliable. There are no infinite combos and no alternate combo outlets: the ninety-nine exist to lock, protect, and stack Ring temptations. Frodo, Sauron's Bane is a one-mana recast but is the only closer, and bounce resets him to Citizen. Average mana value is 1.96, so the prison lands fast; the actual win is a sequential, one-player-per-combat voltron clock.
