Deck overview

This Boros Dwarves deck is a commander-centric aggro deck built around Dain of the Ancient Halls: every Dwarf on the battlefield turns each of his attacks into direct damage to every opponent. Magda and Cadric act as hidden commanders for the treasure/token engine, while secondary paths are a Dwarf token/equipment beatdown plan and a slower artifact finish with Hellkite Tyrant and Cavern-Hoard Dragon. Cadric token copies, Helm of the Host, and Fili the Pathfinder multiply Dain or supply extra Dwarves, and extra combat steps plus damage doublers turn a medium board into a one-turn kill. Dain's haste lets him enter and swing immediately, but repeated commander removal is the deck's clearest brake.
