Deck overview

Kotis, the Fangkeeper leads a Sultai Voltron strategy centered on capitalizing on combat damage triggers. Because Kotis possesses printed Indestructible, it bypasses traditional damage-based board wipes and spot destruction. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana dorks and low-cost land ramps, aiming to resolve Kotis on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, the deck attaches unblockable Auras and stat-boosting Equipment to force through combat damage, exiling cards from opposing libraries and casting their spells for free. Backed by Felix Five-Boots and Ancient Cellarspawn, this theft engine generates substantial card and mana disparity while burning down life totals. While extremely resilient to destruction, the deck relies on combat steps to eliminate opponents one by one over several turns, making it vulnerable to well-timed exile removal, edict effects, and faster combo decks.
