Deck overview

This is an Izzet big-mana spellslinger deck helmed by Zaffai, Thunder Conductor, built to chain rituals and copy spells into explosive, table-ending turns. The primary plan is to generate a critical mass of red mana through fast artifacts (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Chrome Mox) and rituals (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Jeska's Will), then deploy copy effects (Reiterate, Reverberate, Dualcaster Mage, Twinning Staff) to multiply a single X-spell into lethal damage. The cleanest kill loops Reiterate with buyback off any ritual for infinite mana, then fires an uncounterable Banefire or multi-target Crackle with Power. Zaffai himself is a bonus payoff - his magecraft scry smooths draws, MV 5+ spells make 4/4 Elementals, and MV 10+ spells deal 10 damage - but the deck's combos live entirely in the 99. A dense free-interaction suite (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat) protects the combo turn.
