Hayden Nekusar Wheels by AngelofKhonshu

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Grixis wheel-and-draw-punish deck helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The plan is straightforward and brutal: deploy draw-punisher permanents, cast Nekusar, then chain wheel effects that force every opponent to draw seven cards - each draw triggering Nekusar plus a stack of enchantments like Underworld Dreams, Spiteful Visions, and Fate Unraveler for lethal table-wide damage. The deck runs an extraordinary density of wheels (Windfall, Wheel of Fate, Reforge the Soul, Magus of the Wheel, and a dozen more) so that every hand refill doubles as a burn spell. Discard-punishers like Megrim and Liliana's Caress add a second damage vector, while Waste Not and Bone Miser convert the forced discards into mana, tokens, and cards. A backup Laboratory Maniac line wins if the wheels ever empty the deck. The deck is a one-note but highly redundant engine that punishes the table for simply playing Magic.
