Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender commands an aggressive Naya Landfall and Earthbend strategy that transforms lands and nontoken artifacts into recurring, resilient combat threats. The deck establishes an early operational baseline on Turn 3 by casting Toph and triggering her earthbend ability, placing +1/+1 counters on lands and granting them haste and death recursion. Mana velocity is propelled by efficient 1–2 CMC acceleration like Lotus Cobra, Badgermole Cub, and fast mana rocks. Card flow compounds quickly through engines like Terrasymbiosis, which draws cards from Toph's end-step counters, and The One Ring. The deck's primary victory condition emerges on Turn 5 through creature tutors finding the game-ending synergy between Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed. Because Ashaya converts all nontoken creatures into lands, Bumi untaps the entire team and chains infinite combat phases upon connecting with combat damage. Backup win conditions include massive overruns via Craterhoof Behemoth and Moraug, Fury of Akoum.
