Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is a mono-green beatdown deck built to turn the battlefield into a Bear army. The primary plan is to ramp to five mana, land Beorn, and use his combat trigger to make a third creature a Bear so the deck draws two cards every turn while all Bears grow. Secondary paths use Elven Chorus, Fangorn, and Last March of the Ents for card advantage and mana, then close with Unnatural Growth, Return of the Wildspeaker, or a suite of pump/fight spells. Beorn, Reluctant Host in the 99 is a theme card, not a hidden commander; the deck is otherwise a straightforward green creatures and combat-trick shell.
