Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive go-wide strategy centered on Mishra, Claimed by Gix. The game plan focuses on generating numerous creature tokens and attacking with wide boards to trigger Mishra's drain ability, burning each opponent while padding your life total. In addition to mass life drain, the deck threatens explosive melds into Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia by tutoring or unearthing Phyrexian Dragon Engine. Supplementary win paths leverage extra combat steps through Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Combat Celebrant to multiply attack triggers, rapidly converting board presence and repeatable token generation into lethal table-wide damage.
