Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Faerie kindred tempo strategy piloted by Obyra, Dreaming Duelist. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive flying Faeries to chip away at opposing life totals while triggering Obyra's passive ability to drain each opponent whenever another Faerie enters the battlefield. Flash creatures and instant-speed interaction such as Faebloom Trick, Spell Stutter, and Faerie Fencing allow the deck to maintain flexibility on opponents' turns. However, the deck operates without fast mana or high-powered tutors, relying on fair combat steps and incremental life loss. Its high tapland count and lack of mass protection make it vulnerable to board wipes, meaning success depends on disciplined sequencing, timely bounce spells, and leveraging flying evasion before opposing value engines take over.
