Valgavoth Polluted burns by Hew

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes a punishing group-slug burn and commander-damage strategy led by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The main plan establishes early recurring pingers and punishers like Spear Spewer, Harsh Mentor, and Sulfuric Vortex. Deploying Valgavoth converts an opponent losing life during their turn into card advantage and power buffs. The deck uses these cards to fuel targeted removal and keep opposing boards clear. As life totals dwindle from passive triggers, Valgavoth quickly grows into a lethal, evasive airborne threat, supported by equipment like Loxodon Warhammer and top-end damage engines such as Havoc Festival and Kaervek the Merciless to close out the game.
