Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger Storm strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating mana ritual and a win condition, generating {U} and {R} mana equal to its power while dealing 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The primary strategy revolves around deploying cost reducers such as Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor, resolving Vivi on Turn 2 or 3, and enchanting Vivi with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. Because Vivi damages all opponents on each spell cast, Curiosity draws 3 cards per spell, fueling an unbroken chain of cantrips and rituals that burns out the entire table in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by efficient 0-mana interaction, including Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, with alternate win routes through Niv-Mizzet, Parun and traditional storm finishers like Grapeshot and Brain Freeze.
