Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity competitive mono-black combo deck commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary strategy focuses on rapidly accelerating mana through explosive positive-mana rocks, rituals, and utility lands to assemble an infinite aristocrat drain loop. The primary win condition combines Sephiroth with Warren Soultrader and Forsaken Miner: sacrificing Miner to Soultrader creates a Treasure, and Sephiroth's resulting drain trigger commits a crime to return Miner for {B}, repeating infinitely to eliminate all opponents on Turn 3. The deck is supported by powerful card engines including Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, The One Ring, and Hoarding Broodlord, alongside premier tutors that eliminate access variance. Disruption like Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, Orcish Bowmasters, and Defense Grid protects the game plan and hinders opponents, making this deck an extremely lethal and resilient competitive threat.
