Mordors' Finest (retired 9/8/2026) by skrimp

Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand is a spellslinger-amass deck: every noncreature spell puts an MV-sized pile of counters on an Orc Army, and Goblins/Orcs receive ward {2}. The primary plan is to filter through the deck with looting, surveil, and flashback spells, land an early Saruman, then build one enormous Army and finish with combat plus direct damage (Fling, The Great Goblin, Ashling, Guttersnipe). Secondary paths create wide Wraith/Dragon boards through Lord of the Nazgul and Rite of the Dragoncaller, or use Underworld Breach and The Mouth of Sauron to convert a full graveyard into instant/sorcery-fueled amass. No hidden commander is used; The Mouth of Sauron is simply the biggest standalone payoff.
