Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Naya land-animation deck built around Toph, the First Metalbender's end-step earthbend and artifact-land clause. The primary plan is to ramp to six-plus mana, animate lands into permanent hasty land creatures, and stack +1/+1 counters and landfall tokens from Avenger of Zendikar, Felidar Retreat, Omnath, and Scute Swarm before closing with extra combat from Moraug or Bumi, Unleashed. Secondary paths include counter multiplication through Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, Ozolith, and Solid Ground, plus recursion from Titania and Lumra. Ashaya and the transformed Avatar Kyoshi act as hidden commanders, turning creatures into Forests and providing huge earthbends and mana. Toph's role is repeatable, low-cost animation and making artifacts count as lands for landfall and Blackblade Reforged-style payoffs.
