Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its main goal is to ramp rapidly during the opening turns, deploy Miirym on Turn 4 or 5, and cast massive Dragon threats that Miirym duplicates. Each nontoken Dragon entering the battlefield creates a non-legendary token copy, doubling the power and triggers of your creatures. Payoffs like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert these entries into lethal burn damage, while Utvara Hellkite and Atarka, World Render create an overwhelming aerial combat force. Draw engines such as Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Temur Ascendancy refill your hand whenever high-power Dragons enter, sustaining continuous pressure. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game power and resilient token multiplication, its high mana curve makes it vulnerable to early countermagic, targeted removal on Miirym before duplication occurs, and well-timed board sweepers that reset your nonland mana and dragon board.
