Elemental X B2 - 6 by user5614539

Format: Commander

Commander: Xenagos, God of Revels

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Xenagos, God of Revels leads a Gruul beatdown deck that ramps to high-power Elementals and uses the commander's combat trigger to turn a single attack into lethal or near-lethal damage. The primary plan is to land Xenagos on curve, then drop Malignus, Nova Chaser, or Ball Lightning and pump it for a huge hasted swing. Secondary paths include damage-multiplier enchantments, Fling to sacrifice a boosted creature for a second kill, and a Selvala/Staff of Domination/Jumbo Cactuar mana-draw engine. Xenagos is the central force multiplier, though the deck can still push damage and use combos without him.
