Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir graveyard combo and storm deck commanded by Uldaros Theorix. The strategy revolves around loading the graveyard during the early turns with efficient self-mill engines like Hedron Crab, Drowned Secrets, and cheap cantrips. Once the graveyard holds key pieces, the deck casts Uldaros Theorix on Turn 5 to trigger a chain reaction. Uldaros's enter-the-battlefield ability exiles and copies nonland cards across multiple card types, casting them for free up to a total mana value of 6. By casting clone creatures like Phantasmal Image or Flesh Duplicate, the deck triggers new Uldaros enters abilities as the clones enter as copies, while legend-rule state-based actions return the original commander to the graveyard for subsequent copies. This loop generates massive mana via Lotus Bloom and Songs of the Damned, draws through the deck with Ancestral Vision and Archmage Emeritus, and closes the game immediately on Turn 5 with Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or lethal storm finishes with Brain Freeze and Tendrils of Agony.
