Elf Zaddy (Thranduil) by user2426790

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the graveyard into a toolbox: by milling or discarding Elf cards, the deck gives its commander every Elf activated ability in the graveyard. The primary plan is to stock the yard with Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate, then use Thranduil to make infinite green mana and arbitrarily large power. Tyvar, the Pummeler's overrun ability, used through Thranduil, is the finisher, turning all Elves into a lethal board. Secondary paths are classic Elfball beatdown with Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, and End-Raze Forerunners, plus Lathril's life-drain activation. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally acts as a hidden legendary Elf that draws cards and mills lands while advancing the self-mill plan.
