Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grixis reanimator/ring-tempt deck centered on Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to trigger the Ring tempts, discard hands to Sauron for four new cards, and fill the graveyard with high-power threats and Anger. Secondary paths include building a huge Army via Saruman, the White Hand and The Great Goblin, and mass-reanimating with Living Death or Rise of the Dark Realms. The commander acts as the draw/discard engine and occasional 7/6 beater. There is no infinite combo; wins come from combat and cumulative damage. The hidden commander is Saruman, the White Hand, who turns spells into amass triggers. Interaction is a mix of counterspells, free spells, and board wipes, with an emphasis on protecting Sauron.
