Deck overview

This Naya deck leverages Shalai and Hallar to turn a traditional +1/+1 counters strategy into an aggressive, direct-damage burn engine. Early turns establish mana acceleration using green dorks and 2-mana ramp spells, leading to the deployment of the commander alongside synergistic counter doublers and enablers. By Turn 5, high-impact spells such as Cathars' Crusade, Defiler of Vigor, or All Will Be One convert creature casts and entry triggers into lethal waves of noncombat burn damage that bypass blockers completely. The deck also includes a compact infinite win condition with Heliod, Sun-Crowned, which provides lifelink to Shalai and Hallar and loops damage indefinitely. A dense suite of instant-speed protection spells defends the commander against removal, while trample and unblockable effects ensure that wide, tall boards close out games if the direct burn is interrupted.
