Deck overview

This deck focuses on Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man as an explosive Equipment Voltron and artifact cheat engine. Early turns prioritize ramping with efficient 2-CMC mana rocks while utilizing Tony Stark's front-side activated ability to dig four cards deep for key artifact pieces. By Turn 4, the deck generates six mana to transform Tony Stark into The Invincible Iron Man. Because the transformed side possesses flying and haste, it attacks immediately, triggering its ability at the beginning of combat to cheat expensive equipment like Kaldra Compleat, Hulkbuster Armor, or Argentum Armor directly onto the battlefield attached for free. A strong counterspell suite, highlighted by free spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, defends the commander during vulnerable setup windows. Combat damage scales rapidly via damage doublers and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, eliminating opponents sequentially by Turn 6.
