Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul stompy deck helmed by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. The deck utilizes a 'polymorph' creature base: by running only 12 creatures in the entire 99, every single creature hit is a game-warping titan such as Blightsteel Colossus, Worldspine Wurm, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. Supported by a dense suite of 1-to-2 CMC ramp spells and high-yield rituals like Geosurge and Irencrag Feat, the deck consistently accelerates to 7 mana by Turn 4. Because Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers has native haste, it attacks the turn it enters the battlefield, immediately cheating a massive attacking creature into play. A strong package of redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend alongside Veil of Summer and Defense Grid ensures your explosive turns resolve cleanly, overwhelming the table through combat damage over two to three attack cycles.
