Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color artifact midrange and combo strategy led by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The primary goal is assembling an infinite colorless mana loop using Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument. Forsaken Monument adds an extra {C} whenever a permanent is tapped for colorless mana, allowing Basalt Monolith to tap for four mana and untap for three, netting infinite mana. The deck funnels this mana directly into Walking Ballista to eliminate the entire table instantly, or casts Karn from the command zone using generic hybrid mana to dig through the library alongside Eldrazi Displacer. A secondary game plan leverages token engines like Sai, Master Thopterist and Efficient Construction alongside burn payoffs like Molten Gatekeeper and Glaring Fleshraker to drain opponents through combat and enter-the-battlefield triggers. The deck excels at mana velocity and redundancy through specific artifact tutors, but relies heavily on proactive setup due to a very lean interactive package.
