Deck overview

This deck leverages Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as a potent spellslinger and life-drain engine in Esper colors. Accelerated by an efficient package of two-mana artifacts, Y'shtola lands on turn 3 and turns every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater into a 2-damage burn spell against each opponent that also heals you and triggers card draw. Auras like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye amplify this ability by drawing up to three cards per spell cast. Clone effects such as Spark Double, Delney, Streetwise Lookout, and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces multiply these damage triggers, quickly turning mid-game turns into lethal burn storms. In addition to commander-centric damage, the deck features the game-ending infinite combo of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror.
