Riveteer Rampage "Upgrade" by Hidewrath

Format: Commander

Commander: Kresh the Bloodbraided

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Jund midrange value pile helmed by Kresh the Bloodbraided, leveraging the high mana value creature suite and sacrifice synergies to turn creature deaths into massive +1/+1 counters on Kresh. The primary game plan involves ramping into powerful threats (Avenger of Zendikar, Etali, Primal Storm, Woodfall Primus), using sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Ziatora, the Incinerator, and Disciple of Bolas for card advantage, mana, and direct damage, while Kresh grows into an overwhelming threat. Warstorm Surge and Soul's Fire convert creature power directly into face damage. The commander is a payoff, not an enabler; the deck functions at about 70% capacity without him, making him replaceable with other beaters. Win conditions include commander damage, combat from token swarms (Avenger of Zendikar), or incremental pings from Stalking Vengeance and Warstorm Surge. No infinite combos are present.
