Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer and operates as a high-velocity creature storm and +1/+1 counter engine. The primary plan accelerates Helga onto the battlefield by Turn 2 or 3, then uses her triggered ability to turn every creature spell with mana value 4 or greater into card draw, life gain, and +1/+1 counters. As Helga grows, her tap ability produces large bursts of colored mana dedicated to casting further big creatures or X-cost spells. By pairing Helga with untap engines like Chakram Retriever and Intruder Alarm, or repeatable bounce creatures like Blinking Spirit and Temur Sabertooth, the deck chains through cards rapidly. The table is finished on Turn 6 via combat damage amplified by Overwhelming Stampede, Defiler of Vigor, and evasion from Abzan Falconer or Garruk's Uprising.
