Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on leveraging Ezuri, Claw of Progress to convert low-power creatures into scaling combat power. By casting creatures with power 2 or less, the deck rapidly accumulates experience counters that persist on the player throughout the game. At combat, Ezuri places counters onto key threats, supercharging utility creatures like Fathom Mage, Chasm Skulker, and Toothy, Imaginary Friend. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming opponents through unblockable attacks via Herald of Secret Streams and Champion of Lambholt, or flooding the board with token producers such as Hornet Queen and Mycoloth. The deck features solid resilience against removal because experience counters cannot be stripped away, enabling quick rebuilding after board wipes. However, the lack of dedicated creature tutors and reliance on combat damage means the deck requires multiple turn cycles to close out games against three opponents.
