Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Dimir tempo-combo build centered on Anowon, the Ruin Thief that blends an evasive Rogue tribal mill framework with a compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation finish. The primary strategy utilizes dense fast mana (Chrome Mox, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Dark Ritual) and efficient black tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal) to assemble a lethal Oracle combo on Turn 4 with 0 response cycles. In the midgame, evasive Rogues like Changeling Outcast and Slither Blade trigger Anowon and Grim Hireling for steady card flow and Treasure generation, while asymmetric stax pieces like Opposition Agent, Notion Thief, and Orcish Bowmasters suppress opponent searches and draw steps. Free interaction including Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick defends the combo turn. If Oracle is disrupted, backup avenues via Bruvac the Grandiloquent with Maddening Cacophony or a prowled Notorious Throng provide reliable alternative win routes.
