Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bruvac the Grandiloquent is a mono-blue mill combo deck that doubles every mill effect to deck opponents instead of dealing damage. The primary plan is to resolve Bruvac and cast a single half-library spell - kicked Maddening Cacophony, Traumatize, Cut Your Losses, or Kitsune's Technique - to mill one or all opponents at once, with Fraying Sanity and The Water Crystal adding redundancy. Secondary paths use attack triggers from Fleet Swallower and Terisian Mindbreaker (with Unearth haste) and incremental value from Ruin Crab, Hedron Crab, Sphinx's Tutelage, and Psychic Corrosion. Bruvac is the central doubler and must stick; The Water Crystal acts as a hidden second Bruvac and cost reducer.
