Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sheoldred, the Apocalypse turns every opposing draw into life loss and every one of your draws into life gain. The deck builds on that asymmetry with forced-draw permanents such as Font of Mythos, Seizan, and Underworld Dreams, then converts the resulting life cushion into table-wide drain with Sanguine Bond, Vito, and Exquisite Blood. Sheoldred is the primary engine; the 99 plays a mono-black control/value game with spot removal, reanimation, and a few large draw payoffs. A slower alternate path uses Aetherflux Reservoir or Doctor Doom. A hidden commander, Sheoldred // The True Scriptures, provides a board wipe, discard, and mass reanimation.
