Zimone, Mystery Unraveler — Simic Morph & Counters by cmwestmo

Format: Commander

Commander: Zimone, Mystery Unraveler

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zimone, Mystery Unraveler pilots a hybrid landfall and face-down creature strategy. Zimone manifests dread on your first land drop each turn and flips face-down cards face up for free on subsequent land drops. The primary plan uses ramp spells and fetchlands to cheat expensive threats like Shriekwood Devourer, Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle, and Curator Beastie directly into play without paying their mana costs. You then overwhelm opponents through wide face-down creature boards buffed by Biomass Mutation, mass token generation from Scute Swarm and Valgavoth's Onslaught, or looping creature sacrifices into face-down Forests with Yedora, Grave Gardener and Retreat to Coralhelm.
